Hey Everyone!
I'm in my hotel room in Atlanta, getting ready to pack up for the final time and head out for the year. We are flying from Atlanta to Detroit, Detroit to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Kenya, Kenya to Malawi, and then taking a bus from Malawi to Livingstone, Zambia. The nerves and anxiousness are starting to give way to excitement and anticipation. I can't wait to get this journey started!
However, before I leave, I just wanted to take a moment to tell you all how appreciative I am of your support. I would not be able to take part in this adventure if it weren't for those of you who have prayed, donated, shared on social media, sent encouraging letters, etc.
I could write a list of people that I'm thankful for, but it would go on forever, and I might accidentally leave someone out, or include someone who would rather not be listed. Therefore, I want to thank anyone and everyone who has supported me in some capacity as I prepare to take my journey. Specifically, I want to thank my family and my beautiful girlfriend Lindsay, all of whom have encouraged and stood beside me throughout the whole process. Also, I want to thank Pastor Michael Smith, the leadership team, and the congregation at Victory Church of West Memphis, AR for allowing me to share about my journey last Sunday. You all were extremely encouraging, and your prayer and financial commitments were more than I could have imagined. If you live in the West Memphis/Marion area and don't currently have a church home, be sure to visit sometime, and I guarantee you will be welcomed.
Well, now it is time. I'm packed up and ready to start this adventure. I know the Lord has amazing plans for this next year, and I'm ready to experience them.
