So I´ve done a terrible job of maintaining my blog. I apologize. I know ya´ll have been waiting with baited breath for my next post, and my month and a half of silence has been nothing short of heart-wrenching.
Ok lets be real chances are you`ve forgotten I´m even on this thing called the World Race. And that´s ok…sometimes I forget too. Because if I´m being completely honest, what I´ve been doing for the last two and a half months feels less like a missions trip and more like…life. And I´m pretty sure that´s a good thing. I´ve been learning and experiencing a lot, and have never felt more at peace with where I am and where the Father is taking me.
There have been challenges too, and my goal over the next few weeks is to update you on some of the things I´ve been doing and learning. My computer screen got trashed right after my last post, but I´ve been using that as an excuse instead of a challenge to overcome. So I plan on sharing some things with you guys soon, but for now I`d like to give you the oppertunity to help out a couple of my teammates.
So to fund our World Race, each of us has the responsibility to raise $15,500 to support ourselves for the year. Thanks to my Father and your generosity, I´m personally already fully funded. For those still raising money, there is a deadline coming up at the end of this month…if they don`t have $11,000 in their accounts by then, it puts them at risk of going home early.
My teammates Carter Gannon and Ty & Becca Steines are both still short about $3,000.
