Greetings from Nepal! It is month five of my journey and God is still faithful. My new team and I are doing ministry just north of Pokhara, Nepal. Pokhara is Nepal’s second largest city after Katmandu and is somewhat of a tourist city. That being said we are working at a Hotel and Resort called the Yak Ranch which is located approximately six kilometers up in the hills north of town.
We are kept busy doing finish construction work at the Ranch and the owner’s long term goal is to use the revenue to pour back into mission work specifically aimed at reaching unreached people groups. We wake up in to the morning to beautiful views of the Annapurna mountain range and I am continually taken aback by the beauty of God’s creation.
I love my new team and the Lord is definitely fostering camaraderie and trust amongst the six of us. Other than the occasional head cold and some annoying leeches all of us are healthy and are continuing to learn about and enjoy our Father.
Prayers are still appreciated and I will hopefully get another longer blog out in the not too distant future.
