It has been such an amazing month here in Uganda. It has been a time filled with plenty of emotions, ranging from excitement, anxious, uncomfortable, happiness, tired and I’m sure there is more. I guess I didn’t realise how challenging it was to step out of everything you know and pursue a very different life. Giving complete control to God.
My time in Uganda was Spent in the area of Kampala where I got to finally meet my amazing Squad. FUSION 3!!! I am thankful for each one of them and the fantastic leaders that have support us this month. I can’t wait to see what this year brings for us all.

Not only that but we were also split into our teams.

As a team we spent a week together helping at Bethany Women and Children’s Hospital. This was an amazing experience and I am extremely thankful for the beautiful people we spent time with. At the hospital we done whatever needed to be done such as, Ironing, cleaning rooms, baking, sorting through files and praying with patients. This experience made me realise how important it is to give our time to others and the amazing relationships that can come from it.

One of the great things about this country is their TIME! People here are more focused on each other and what they are doing in that present moment. Rather than rushing and having time limits. This is what I want for my life, to live in the moment, moving on from what happened yesterday and not worrying about tomorrow. I’m learning to be still.
On Friday the Squad head to Rwanda, can’t believe my time in Uganda is nearly over. What a beautiful place. I’m super excited to head to Rwanda and ask that you pray for my team.

Thank you!!!

(I also have my next fundraising target to meet by the end of this month, so if you would like to partner with me please get in touch or click on support me on my blog page)
