As I come to the end of my forth month it is also the end of team JP. Going into month 5 we will have new teams, this is something I am super excited about and can’t wait to find out what team I’ll be on. However it is a bitter sweet, doing life for 4 months with an amazing group of girls who have taught me so much, going through challenges and having each other every step of the way. I thought I would share some of the awesome memories that I have shared with each individual and as a team.
This is my little French Friend Melo! She was my first buddy on the race and is such an inspiration. She is super fun to be around, loves God and has a heart for others. I am so thankful for her friendship, she has taught me lots and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for her.
This is Casey, she loves cuddles and holding hands. For someone like me who loves personal space and a person like Casey who doesn’t believe in personal space we are an unlikely friendship. But I love being around Casey, she makes me laugh every day. She may be super clumsy but she is so willing and ready to help anyone and everyone.
This is Shavon, what a crazy fun person to be around. She is super motivated and supportive. She has such a kind heart and is very determined to get things done. She loves God with all her heart and has a passions for others. She’s also been teaching me to do a headstand for the past 4 months so she has a lot of patients also!
This is Dakota! She has been an awesome team leader and an amazing friend. She is extremely supportive and wants to experience everything. We have decided that I am her Scottish twin because we have many similarities, on being our sense of humour! She has taught me so many things and for someone who is only a year older than me I look up to her a lot, she is an incredibly strong person and it has been a pleasure doing life with her these past 4 months.
As a team we have had so many wonderful memories. What an amazing team and what an amazing 4 months we have had together. It has been a time filled with so much laughter and unforgettable moments together.
