Nepal was an incredible month full of unforgettable memories.

Rural village, rice paddies, crazy rides through the mountains, living next door to an elephant, long bus rides, amazing people, paddle boarding, paragliding, momos, noodles, lots of laughter, busy cities, dust and pollution, Bungee jumping, canyoning, riding in the back of a truck through the Himalayas, landslides, hiking and… falling in love. That’s right all these amazing moments and before any of them happened I had fallen completely in love with the beauty of Nepal. It is utterly breathtaking.

Home to Everest (one day I’ll see it) and unbelievable mountain range, I had one of those surreal moments as we drove through the Himalayas in the back of a truck. I couldn’t believe this was my life. I had dreamed about seeing the Himalayas and now I had bungee jumped and abseiled down waterfalls all of which was in the HIMALAYAS and now I was riding through them and getting to enjoy Gods creation. This has to be one of my most favourite memories and one I never want to forget.

I have heard stories of the tragedy of the 2015 earthquake that took 9,000 lives, many lost their homes and some are still rebuilding. I walked down the busy street in Kathmandu and witnessed street kids addicted to sniffing glue to help stop the hunger pains and I heard stories of overcoming addiction when we visited a rehab centre. This month has been unbelievable, Nepal has so much to see and do. The people are incredible, that place definitely stole my heart.
