Hey Yall!
I am so happy that you guys are on this journey with me! I am so grateful for all of your emails, love, support, and donations so far! This journey has been absolutely INCREDIBLE and it’s ONLY the beginning!!!!
With EVERY journey there will be some HIGH moments, CONSTANT moments, SHAREABLE moments, LOW moments, PRIVATE moments, UNSURE moments, CRAZY moments, FUNNY moments and everything in between! I am learning that all of these moments, however, are GOD moments, no matter how we feel about them! It is only right that I share EVERY piece of this journey with you all because you guys are literally the BEST support team in the world.
I was awakened this morning and Jesus made it perfectly clear to me that I don’t need to ‘WAIT’ until all of this is over until I publicly give Him the glory, NO! GOD gets the GLORY in the midst of all of this!! HE Is GOOD. He has already healed me and I am Praising Him NOW… NOT later! I am PUBLICALLY declaring HIS GLORY..!!!!

Last Sunday, I was not feeling well as the team and I settled into where we would be staying for the day before we would head to meet with our entire squad to travel to Ghana. (travel days are long!) Later that night I began to throw up and had a fever. My AMAZING team Leader aka Dr. Laura and my teammates took very good care of me and by morning, my fever had broke. I woke up that morning still not 100% but I pressed my way through the travel day back to Abidjan, CoteD’Ivoire! That night, I showered and went to bed early only to wake up throwing up, yet again( sorry for graphics)! My Team leader instructed me that I was not healthy enough to travel and that we will be going to the hospital that night! Overwhelmed with being sick and a burden, we went to the hospital.
I was moved to 2 hospitals ( because of the hospital’s conditions and my sanity) and they tested me for everything under the sun! Amen, my test came back all NEGATIVE, BUT they did find that my blood was critically and extremely low! I was admitted into the hospital where I soon found out that I needed a blood transfusion because of how low my blood was. Surrounded by the amazing Squad R leadership team, I began to communicate how if I really needed a transfusion, I wanted to fly back to America because I was not comfortable with getting a blood transfusion at the current hospital that I currently was at. The doctors communicated that because my blood was not at a ‘flying level’, going back home to America was not an option. After a day, the international insurance medical nurses that house my international insurance gave me an option to be flown to South Africa where medical conditions were equivalent to America, they spoke English, and where I would meet with my mom! YAY! Shout out to my pretty amazing mother for dropping everything and flying out here to take care of her daughter! Taking that option, 4 days later they put me on an exclusive jet ( not really it was like a small private plane) and they flew me out to South Africa!
God is so in the details.
Once I arrived in South Africa with my amazing squad leader, Katherine ( who has not left my side ONCE- SHE IS AMAZING… there will be another separate blog about how amazing not only Katherine is but her husband, Kayden and the whole Squad R leadership TEAM!! ) anywho….. we arrived to South Africa greeted by some of the most AMAZING South Africans, everyone meet Natalie and Chris! OMG! They were the best EMT’s ever. God is in every detail! As they transported me from the airport to the hospital, I was able to get a crash course on South Africa, thus why I will be coming back! I literally laughed and had the best conversation about South Africa and America!
SOUTH AFRICAN accents are so much FUN!!!
Katherine ( Amazing Squad Leader). Natalie (EMT), Chris ( EMT), & The Doctor who flew with me ( I forgot her name)!

The next day, they took more test, separated me from the general public and took MORE blood……then I met with the Medical Doctor.
I am currently still in the hospital getting iron, spending time with my mom, her best friend, Katherine and Meghan ( South African family that is hosting my mother!!) eating hospital food, getting to know the ‘sisters’ ( nurses) and praying and ministering to them! GOD IS IN THE DETAILS!

I am asking that as my support team that you all continue to pray for me! I am feeling so much better but there are decisions that I will have to make soon. I wanted to share with you all because GOD gets the glory NOW! I am reminded of the woman with the issue of blood… sounds familiar?! (Luke 8:43-48) We are one in the same. A female pastor told me a long time ago to always find myself in the Word of God. THAT’S where the Lord will speak, through His word! I am her, she is me.SAME JESUS! Even though I am not sure what blood issue the lady in the bible had, we both are faced with the issue of blood. It is interesting how God sometimes doesn’t specify what disease or sickness they had. HEaling is Healing! There is nothing that God cant heal! I believe He did this so that we can insert our sickness or disease in there. Not putting God in a box according to His Word. The lady (in the bible) and I both serve the SAME God and I am doing exactly what she did.. because of Her faith, she reached for His garment because she KNEW that HE was the GREAT DOCTOR! Just a touch of Jesus would bring HEALED!!
So, I am reaching for the one I know who has a track record of healing blood issues. The GReat PHYSICIAN! This has been a very difficult road for me but I serve a God who is GOOD. A God that Does Good and a GOd that WORKS all things out for our GOOD! He is FAITHFUL. Period.
Please stand in prayer with me friends and family!
Healing is already done. It is already mine. Jesus already died for my healing. I am just waiting for its manifestation!
I Love Yall!
Thanks for rocking with me through EVERYTHING!!
P.S.
Yall better not text me worrying. Worrying is NOT of GOD and I can assure you, I have worried enough for you and me both! So, save it! Pray, Trust and give your worry to Jesus!
P.S.S.
Squad R,
I can’t wait to see y’all in a couple of days!
NYANMIEN RA WO SU ( God Bless you in Baoule)
