Going into this next adventure in my life has been a little overwhelming. I arrived at TRAINING CAMP July 10th . I was super excited to meet my “squad” , grow my faith, and learn what was going to be in store when I am on the field. Not going to lie.. I went into this camp thinking “how hard could it be”. Boy was I woken up. When I got to the camp I was greeted with such love and joy by EVERYONE. We all meet up at our camp site where we then set up camp. We found out who was on our teams(the group of girls from my squad I will be living with in host homes for the nine months).
My Teammates
• (Left to right ) Sky: Getting to know sky I learned a lot about kindness and happiness. She has a smile and laugh that will light up the room. She’s happy even when the clouds are grey. She bring so much happiness in my heart that I know I’m going to grow and become more like her.

• Hannah: Oh Momma Hannah is what I like to call her. She is SO SO beautiful In how she constantly puts others first. She would braid my hair, she would constantly offer me snacks (food portion change was critical), she would keep our eyebrows fleeking and our girl mustaches in check. This girl is one of a kind and I’m so excited to change many lives with this beautiful soul.

• Brittney: AKA my best friend/ other half. Honestly I don’t know if I could have done it without this girl by my side. When I had my doubts she was there to reassure me this is God’s Plan for me. She brought me so much laughter in everything. We never left each others side. It was like I’ve know her my whole life. She’s so independent and strong I hope to grow as strong.

• Amy: STRONG. Not only is she strong but she’s a leader. Many tough things were thrown on her plate and she continued to stay strong and grow closer to Christ. She always kept me in check when my mind would wonder and I’m so glad she’s on my team because I know she will keep us safe.

• Lilly: She’s such a beautiful person finding the best in everything we did. Even getting sick during the week she stayed and continued to grow. So excited to see her grow more and more.

• Ashlynn: This girl is a leader also she’s so kind hearted and positive all the time. She super smart and helped me under stand so much. Having her on my team is very reassuring I’m going to understand so much more.
Cross the River

As a team we had to cross the river(stand on wood and cross the driveway). Believe it or not this game brought us closer then ever we had so much fun bonding.
So excited to spend my next 9 months with these girls! Subscribe to my blog so you can follow me through my adventure!
