Well this is it folk! I have less than a month left in the states. I have less than a month before I leave all the comforts of home and embark on a once in lifetime adventure.

God has really shown me a lot these past few months. I had always thought that if God asked me to give up my money I would do it without hesitation, but when He actually asked me to take almost all my saving out and put it towards the World Race I did the very thing I thought I wouldn’t do, I hesitated. I didn’t have a whole lot of money in my saving, but it was money I had worked hard for. I thought it was my money and I shouldn’t have to give it up cause that was the point of fundraising. God was like that’s not the point of fundraising, fundraising is a partnership with the people you’re asking to support you. The money I had was never mine, it was always Gods. So with shaky hands, I took the money out of my savings. Some people might say that must have been so freeing, at first it wasn’t. I literally was like “have I lost my mind! This is crazy!” Once I got to the post office and literally let go of the check I felt peace about it, I felt free of that money like it had been a burden all my life. God wanted me to trust Him with everything including my money, which originally I thought I would be okay with. But God has blessed me with raising my funds for this trip. I’m at over $10,000 and I only need $1,000 more to reach the 3rd deadline! He has supplied my malaria medication, which was a lot of pills and very expensive. I can only take Malarone because I’m allergic to the other anti-malaria med, and it’s also the most expensive, costing a total of $1,600 for 7 months’ worth. I ended up finding a generic brand that only cost $575 YAY! When my part-time job wasn’t giving my any hours He gave me babysitting jobs to bring in some money. I don’t think God is a show-off or anything but He did do some amazing things these past couple of months just to remind me that He is Lord.

Gods SO COOL!!

Please pray for me and my B-Squad as we spend our last month state side:)
