A cry for love is happening in heaven and it is what I pray for here on earth. It is not easy and it will take courage to love sincerely. It means your heart will feel more; more deeply and more ardently. it also means that the false self will have to be overcome which leads to brokenness.
I can tell you from experience, though, that I would never ever ever trade brokenness to go back to my old false self. I would choose humility through humiliation if it means I can love others more sincerely.
In the words of Rusty Jackson, our beloved squad leader, “we all came on this trip because we believed something extraordinary could happen in our lives.”
And this, indeed, is what has happened. Praise you Lord!
