Hello again!

I hope you all are doing good!

Okay, so this is going to be that awkward blog where I talk about really needing your financial support and prayers for this journey.
First off:
I suck at asking people for money.
Second off:
I suck at asking people for money.
Third off:
I suck at….okay you get it.

One area I do have pride in, is asking people for help…especially when it comes to finances. I don’t like to bother people…especially when it comes to their money.
However, I know God is asking me to lay down my pride in this area.
And it is SO hard!

I am so extremely awkward with asking people for help, which is why I hardly ever do it. However, I need to realize that I am apart of the body of Christ. I’m not a random body part trying to function on my own.
We look at the scripture, “All things work for the good to those who love God,” and we think “Yes….God is talking about ME!”…and well, yes, He is…but we, you and I, aren’t His only children. When He has a bunch of kids that love Him, He is working out the good for all of us. Not just one of us, not just your preacher, not just one of your Christian role models…for all that love Him.
When you sew into another person’s life, God is causing your blessing to work to the good of your fellow brother or sister. But, He’s also working it together for YOUR good. When you bless others, you get blessed. God usually sends a person to your life when He is about ready to bless you…because one of God’s greatest gifts to us…is another person. We all need each other, and the more unified we are, the more God can use us to create a harmonious song that is beautiful to the world that is lost and stumbling in the dark.
We aren’t attacking each other. We aren’t slandering each other. We are LOVING each other, sharing truth with each other, helping and believing in each other.
So. If God is asking you to bless me for this trip, God isn’t only using you to work things together for my good. This is also for YOUR good. God sees and remembers everything, and He delights in us when we are faithful to Him.
So, by writing this, I’m not just being faithful to trying to raise funds, I’m being faithful to what God is calling me to do.
Will you be faithful to what He’s asking you to do?
Thanks for reading this! Love you guys!!
