Whoever knows me well know I have a deep love for food and for cooking.

And one thing that got me very excited was to experiment new food during this 11 months of travelling around the world. Before the race I also asked God to give me opportunities to learn cooking new food as part of doing ministry and surprise surprise… HE DID! Super yaaaay!

So here a few pictures of my culinary journey so far on the race ๐Ÿ™‚

Month 1 : Uganda

Uganda - food

Month 2 : Rwanda

Rwans

I learned so many new recipes in Rwanda because I did ministry in the kitchen of our guesthouse a lot. Eheh!! ๐Ÿ™‚
In this picture : traditional sambaza (little fish), beans, tree tomatoes fruit (orange fruit)…

Month 3 : Ethiopia

 Ethiopia - food

Sharing food in one big plate is normal in Ethiopia and I loved this concept of eating together.
Ethiopian cuisine is very tasty and injera (the spongy sour kind of flatbread) is a must try!! Coffee ceremony is also a very big thing in Ethiopia and they definitely love their coffee very strong!

Month 4 – Malaysia

Malaysia - Food Malaysia - Food 2

There are so many different culture backgrounds here in Malaysia, so we have plenty of choices when it comes to eating… traditionnal malay food or arabic or indian or chinese food and so much more! Looooooove it so much!
Yummy in my tummy!

I am soooo looking forward to discovering more about the traditional cuisine of the 7 other countries we are gonna go.

And I am so thankful for the different cultures, different spices and cooking traditions that the Lord gave us all around the world. Everything I tried so far is so delicious, it brings me joy!! ๐Ÿ™‚
