We have been moving around a lot this month and I loooove travel days because it gives us the opportunity to discover more about the landscapes of the country we are in, it means we are gonna get to discover a new place, step into the unknown and have new ministry opportunities or even make us grow in our relationship with God as travel days can sometimes be challenging…
It challenges our patience, our trust in the Lord that He is gonna provide, our trust in each other, it teach us to always serve each other well in spite of circumstances…
Having bumps on our way is becoming frequent, and I would say almost normal… But I love how we are all learning and growing through it.
For instance, my flight who was supposed to get me to Uganda, our first country, was cancelled because of snow.
For some reasons our booking flight from rwanda to Ethiopia was not approved by the flight company and our logistic team had to find solutions to get us in Ethiopia since we coudn’t stay any longer in Rwanda because our visa was expiring this very day.
Getting from Ethiopia to Malaysia was quite the journey as well… Our flight was delayed many times without any explaination, we had to slept in the airport, we would get different information from one person to another…
But thanksfully some travel days are going much smoothly and peacefully. Our last trip brought us from Penang island to Cameron Highlands, in the middle of Malaysia…
Here is a little video of our travel day that my teammate Mhairi made.
Enjoy!
