This blog comes with a broken heart that God is slowly piecing back together.

I want to first thank all of my supporters. Whether you have given financially, or have been praying for my journey. Thank you. Thank you for being such a huge part in this process I have embarked on.

I pray you all will receive this with grace but won’t hesitate to ask questions either! I was at training camp last week and the Lord broke me. In ways I didn’t know were possible and most definitely did not expect.

Through much prayer, resting in the Lords presence, seeking counsel, and many, many tears. I have decided to stay home.

I know this may seem confusing. I get it. Trust me, I was just as confused. I didn’t understand why he took me all the way to training camp and being fully funded to show me he wanted me to stay home.

But he did and I now know why. It took me being completely broken and hitting rock bottom to see what God really desired for me. And that was for me to follow him, right where I am. Not overseas. Not on the world race.

If you would like to chat more about what this process looked like and what exactly I went through, don’t hesitate to contact me! My desire is that you guys will receive the news with much understanding but I also know it’s a hard place to be at as a supporter of me.

With that being said, I know the financial side of this trip is a huge deal and I want to explain what that looks like.

The money I raised is non-refundable and will be going into the general missions fund at adventures in missions, which is the organization I was going through.

I do however know that some of you supported me, and that money is no longer going towards my trip. If you would talk about your options financially, please feel free to contact me. Cell: 903-229-3308

Thanks,

Melody Mayse
