I had the absolute privilege to stay with Elaine while my team and I were in LA during our ATL time. Elaine is from Alabama and is one of the most talented artists I’ve ever seen. Her kindness knows no bounds and she exudes the love of Jesus wherever she goes. As we grew to know and love Elaine over the short time we were able to spend with her, it became clear that her story was something special. I asked if it would be something she would allow me to share and she said yes! The following story is written by Elaine:
I retired in 2004 from a 32 year career in education privileged to be a school principal, special education director, and consultant with the Alabama State Department of Education.
In 2008, The Lord touched me in such a profound way and I began to study my Bible relentlessly. My daughter was in college & she invited me to join her in some student ministry events. Through this, the Lord plunged me into student ministry, — The students of the largest ministry serving the University of Alabama asked me to be their team mother so I made the 3 hour trek with joy to Tuscaloosa to be there every Thursday night with them, where I learned about worship, the power of the Holy Spirit to heal and how the Lord was raising up a generation that would reach the nations for him!
The Lord revealed while I was staying at the Beverly Hilton to send my art (which has scriptures on the back) to foreign countries free as it was spiritual warfare and where it resided, “He had a stand in that place.”
My art pieces are FRONTLETS
In 2010, I began writing a different scripture on each of my paintings at the suggestion of a friend. The Lord began doing amazing things with my hands and creating beautiful paintings. During prayer came a revelation these paintings with Scripture were a form of spiritual warfare and wherever the paintings rested, The Lord has a stand in that place. I call the paintings “FRONTLETS” from the passage in Deuteronomy 6:5-9.
Deuteronomy 6:5-9 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, & with all your strength & these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children & shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down & when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand & they shall be as FRONTLETS between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
In 2012, I painted a beautiful white crane on an emerald background & penned a Scripture from Psalms down the front to the right of the crane. A storekeeper who went to church with me offered to put this piece in his shop. Later, as I collected the crane FRONTLET for a church requesting to display it, he told me that I should paint another one but not put the scripture on it “because everyone is not religious like us.” I was angry, mad, hurt, and knew that if I did not put the Word on the art, I was not doing as God had commanded me to do. The shop-keeper had no knowledge of my anguish as I took the picture under my arm and walked to the car. Once inside my car right on Broad Street, I pounded my fist on the steering wheel and screamed into the air, “If I cannot put the Scripture on the front of the painting, I will just have to put it on the back!” Immediately, although it’s hard to explain, I felt a hand on my right shoulder and I felt the voice of the Lord say to me, “That’s right, one day that’s where it will have to be…..”
I wept knowing that even during tribulation that the FRONTLETS will testify. I imagine a desperate soul picking up a fallen FRONTLET from a floor during a catastrophic moment, eyes locking onto Scripture once hidden on the back of a painting which hung on a wall—-the Word screaming hope from the backside of the canvas. And hope revives that soul and it brings great faith!
The Lord commissioned me to begin distributing FRONTLETS worldwide to as many different countries as possible free of charge, with a reminder that “where they are, He has a stand in that place!” Presently, they are in over 60 countries and in hundreds of households in the continental United States – all to His glory! I am singing “Hallelujah” that they will have a voice even after the Lord takes up His bride!!
I have watched people weep looking at a FRONTLET and countless people say there is something supernatural in a FRONTLET. I’ve watched men stand and stare at them for long periods of time. I always wonder what they are feeling & hearing.
It is such a privilege to let the Lord take my hand and implant the Holy Spirit into the canvas allowing me to paint a “hook” that will captivate someone so He can speak. The Lord always directs the individual who carries the FRONTLET to whom/where the painting should “rest!” And, He always directs me as to what Scripture will be written on the back of the canvas. No Scripture is repeated. Each FRONTLET has its own Scripture. God knows who will need it and when they will need it.

Then in 2013, the Lord downloaded to me a vision during worship in South Beach (I don’t know if it lasted a second or an hour) of opening a place of refreshment, equipping for revival, restoration, networking, & worship where the Christian student ministries would be united under one roof in three locations: the University of Alabama, a campus in Dallas, and in Los Angeles at either UCLA or USC or combining both campuses.
As the adopted team “Mom” for the largest said ministry in Tuscaloosa for 3 years, I had a little experience, but of course nothing like this.
The vision was complete with details such as a once-Baptist girl never heard of….from the concept the ministry would employ a 5-Fold Ministry Administrative Model, to decor details such as metal bars floor to ceiling to hold up a stack of large white exercise balls to be used as seating in the refreshment Tap-Room and in the Overflow worship arena for “Praisercise.” The Lord said the place is to be called
“ – d r i n k – “.
The front of the building will be a place where infused waters, teas, coffee, soup, smoothies (all fast-sustainable) will be served in an intimate coffee shop style environment with rugs, reclaimed furniture with decor of black, red, white, silver; and large white acrylic egg lamps …and with a piped-in Spotify playlist of over 500 songs with lyrics citing everything liquid in the Bible; water, baptism, fountains, springs, oceans, blood, tears..
Separating the refreshment area from the worship area is to have waterfall flowing over corrugated metal ceiling to floor. The worship arena will be open for Praiser-cise in the mornings with a playlist of over 300 songs. In the evenings, the different ministries will host sessions of prayer, worship & the Word. The download was so detailed in every way.
The Lord led me to discover the why’s of the name He gave me: “- d r I n k -. “ I begin with researching “water” in the Bible and in the natural, then coffee, then wine, tea, juices…etc. so I would know the importance, intricacy and intentionality of why He chose that name.
Long story made short, over the course of a 3 day period in 2015, He called me out of a 30 year abusive marriage into hiding for 3 years where I stayed with family and friends and finally at my family lake home for the final 8 months ——I attended services at 5 different Christian gatherings per week developing deep spiritual relationships and being refined, protected and sanctified until the divorce was final.
My daughter and her boyfriend, Robb, returned to their homes in California and my precious friend, Robb’s mother, Pamela, relocated to California. Separately, each pleaded with me to join them there but I knew of God’s plan for me to establish – d r i n k – at the University of Alabama, in Dallas, & in Los Angeles. Teary-eyed, I knew their leading to California was of Him, I must stay behind until I determined how to make -d r i n k – happen. I began to press the Lord for the provision & capacity to do this divine scheme.
Over the course of three days in August, 2017, the Lord told me to go to California and “pray for CONFLUENCE” (the joining together of two equally wide rivers, a financial merger). I knew this was for a ministry partner(s). This thrilled me to know I would have a partner (or several) to carry out this calling & construct this ministry.
I phoned my daughter, Jessica, to tell her of this stunning development. Her response was, “I tried to tell you, Mom, but you kept insisting you had to stay back in Alabama, so I gave up.” I phoned Pamela saying, “Guess what?!?” She said, “I bet you are coming to live with me in California!” Stunned, I exclaimed, “How did you know? “I tried to tell you two times,” she said, “but the Lord shut my mouth and said He wanted to tell you Himself.”
The Lord later revealed that – d r i n k – is to also be a 24 hour house of prayer & worship. A male and female pair will volunteer from area churches available to lead those who come broken, desperate, & lonely to the Lord. As they are saved, the Amos 9:13 cycle of the reapers overtaking the sowers will manifest and these will come to serve and sow & reap!
I moved to Pamela’s home in Aliso Viejo, California in November of 2017. I began attending various churches and worship centers 4-5 times every week desperate to find this “confluence.” The end of December, the Spirit spoke for me to Google “Orange County House of Prayer” so I emailed the contacts from that list for an appointment to hear what God wanted them to tell me.
The first appointment revealed the person I interviewed participated in a cross country bus trip from southern California to the east coast and back hammering tent pegs with scriptures on them in places where the Lord designated , praying & declaring that Houses Of Prayer would be raised up from every state. She was so amazed & said I was their first tangible answer to this prayer.
The second person I met with said she had a dream three years prior concerning exactly the building that I described to her in our conversation —including the waterfall. She knew that I was supposed to be taken in & trained with everything that she had learned about opening Houses Of Prayer—this eventually segued to my scurrying to get application & references for ministry classes that were to begin in 3 weeks.
This training has come at no fiscal expense!! I was to be trained to know the reasons why the Lord gave me this vision and to equip me to do it through Blessed International Revival Center & their House of Prayer: Orange County.
I have also been through some training at Pasadena House Of Prayer. Both training centers are well within 60 miles of where I am staying.
God’s leading me cross-country in order to receive from these Spirit-led people has been such a demonstration of His creating each of us for divine purpose and weaving each necessary segment in so beautifully.
Coming to realize that as Lord told me to establish a house of prayer & worship, He has imparted the SAME beckoning to many other people across the world has astonished me. There is an expanding conference of people developing Houses of Prayer and revival centers all over the world, each uniquely designed by Him perfectly for the respective communities.
The Lord allowed me to participate in an intensive 20 week ministry internship & theology class. Having an exceptional second teacher he continued to train me in exactly what would be needed for -d r i n k – to become an equipping center on the college campuses.
Since arriving in California, I have been able to engage in ministry experiences and/or training which includes a wide variety of international cultures, high school ministry, on-campus college ministry, street invitational ministry, prayer & counseling ministry, mission intercession & encouragement to missionaries, corporate intercessory prayer, singles ministry, waiting on the Lord, deliverance and inner healing, harp and bowl sets for prayer & worship, glory houses, dream interpretation, messianic temples, house churches of worship and community, prophetic intercession, tele-evangelism, praying at various houses of prayer, participating in marketplace ministry, being on a team that laid the foundation for a house of prayer on the campus of Biola University & serving on a ministry trip to Korea.
I am currently studying Bible foundations and the fivefold ministry and helping in the development and discipleship of the new interns at Blessed International in Anaheim California.
The leading of the Holy Spirit is bold and efficient in preparing His harvesters. This grand harvest to bring others into His kingdom before the last trumpet is sounded will be unlike revivals of the past— it will be unrivaled!
