One of my favorite things to do while we were in Peru was watch the sunset on the roof at our compound. Every day around 5:45pm I’d giddily run up the stairs, excited to watch how God was going to end that day. Sometimes I’d watch alone or I’d invite a teammate to come up with me, but most times I got to sit in awe with my leader and friend – Lys. These moments were magical. I learned so much about God and myself just by taking time to appreciate the beauty of each sunset. Now I could go on and on about how beautiful they were, but I want you to see for yourself what I saw and tell you what God revealed about himself through them. (*disclaimer: pictures never do what is actually seen justice, but they were still the best sunsets I’ve ever seen.)
