Today is a big day. Today, June 22, marks the halfway point for us on the World Race. (I know it’s now after the 22nd, but I wrote this on the 22nd so just play along…)

We have spent 162 days out on the mission field and we have 162 days left until we return. We’re halfway there.

Time has flown by, and although I can’t say that I’ve absolutely loved every minute of it, I am so thankful for the time I’ve spent out here. I’ve learned things on the race that I know I wouldn’t have been able to learn back home and I wouldn’t trade a minute of it.

We’ve made a video highlighting what the Lord has been teaching us during different months on the race. Even though we’re all on the same race, it has been amazing to see that vast amount of things He has been teaching each of us individually.

We each only share a word for 2 of the months in the video, but here is a list of a couple words that have defined the past 6 months for me:

  • Ecuador: Refinement and letting go
  • Peru: Revelation and vulnerability
  • Bolivia: Awakening and newness
  • Romania: Revival/refreshment and brokenness
  • Ukraine: Unity and trust/release
  • South Africa: Peace and rest

We wanted to commemorate this great day in our World Race lives and we wanted to share it with YOU! I can’t thank you enough for your prayers and support that have made this journey possible…Hope you enjoy our video! 🙂
