So when I was in college I spent 6 weeks in Eastern Europe on a summer missions trip and I loved those countries with all of my heart.  I didn't make it to Albania then but I've been here for 4 days and I can confidently say that I already love this country with all of my heart!

We are living in a college town (win) called Shkodra working with Campus Crusade.  Our contacts are amazing and funny and so hospitable.  The students are kind and joyful and have just this glow about them.  (they also are ridiculously fashionable!) And the majority of clothes shopping is flea market style!  I bought the cutest grey sweater for $4!!!!!!!! (I needed the sweater because it is SO COLD here!  Next purchase is a thicker coat and shoes!).  And people's favorite activity?  Drinking coffee!! I was meant to live here!

On top of that I am just being blessed incredibly by my new team.  They are so fun and encouraging!  We are somewhat separated but still have had great quality time!  Jenna, Rikki, Ginny and I are staying in this adorable apartment where the whole team hangs out during free time.  Jessie and Cory are staying with another married couple working for Crusade and Evan's staying at their church.  So far each night we've had girl's time and they've had man time.  And I love it!  I love drinking coffee, eating something chocolate and just talking about silly girl things.  I also love that Cory and Evan can get away for a bit (I imagine it's hard sometimes being surrounded by 5 girls!).  Though I know they are talking about love and cute things even if they say they aren't!

So that's kind of a quick glimpse into my life here in Albania!  We basically just drink coffee and hang out with college students all day (those of you who know me, know this is my heaven!).  I can't wait to see what God is going to teach me through these incredible blessings!

I miss you and love you all dearly!
