Well it’s time again for another Never Have I Ever!  I can’t believe this is my sixth one!  Where is the time going!?!?!?

  • BUNGY JUMP!!!! (from the highest bungy bridge in the world!!! It was AWESOME!)
  • Touched a shark!!! (it was a hammerhead and it was dead but I touched it!)
  • Had a dead bird thrown at me—the little boys we worked with thought it was great to hear us scream.
  • Spent Christmas away from home.
  • Attended a Christmas Eve service that consisted of everyone sitting on the floor, singing their hearts out to God and ended with prayers of thanksgiving.
  • Slept outside for a month (in a tent! That’s month 4 without a bed).
  • Stayed hydrated by drinking rain water (prayers I don’t have some parasite would be appreciated J)
  • Participated in a foot washing service.  We washed our men’s feet to honor them and it was incredible, beautiful and something I will never forget!
  • Played Netball (I LOVE IT!)
  • Swam in the Indian Ocean (I am seriously in love with this beach!  The water is so clear!)
  • Saw a scorpion (I almost peed my pants!!!)
  • Had monkeys hang out in my front yard.
  • Learned to co-habitat with spiders as long as they stayed on their side of the room.
  • Gone 3 months straight having cereal every morning and sandwiches every lunch.
  • Spent the majority of my social time sitting at a picnic table outside a gas station.
  • Spent an entire month sitting on the floor—there isn’t a piece of furniture to be found; though we used stoops and stumps of wood as our chairs.
  • Brushed my teeth with water from a spigot outside the house (more prayers would be appreciated for that too J)
  • Swam in the ocean & gotten sunburnt in December.
  • Hand washed all my clothes all month long.

South Africa was an interesting month to say the least!  I’m still processing through a lot that happened and hopefully will have follow up blogs later.  But for now today is our last full day in Plett.  We are spending it packing, cleaning and downtown to send final emails and post final blogs.  Tomorrow afternoon we will take an 18 hour bus ride back to Johannesburg.  And from there take either a bus or a train to Mozambique!  Time is flying by!

In Mozambique we will be working at a Bible College in Xai-Xai helping to get ready for students arrival.  Every time I feel like I’m finally getting used to not be on a college schedule we get a ministry month working at a college!  I’m starting to think I’m going to working for a college for the rest of my life! J  We had to change ministry sites this week so there’s still a lot of details to work out.  One is they haven’t finalized housing so there’s a big chance we could be tenting again (woo hoo!  I’m certainly getting my money’s worth!).  I keep trying to imagine a group of missionaries from a foreign country showing up to ENC and pitching their tents on the front lawn.  I would laugh a ton so I’m expecting to be laughed at a lot next month!

Also on a super fun awesome note: all three girls (Lindsay, Ashley and Allison) are fully funded!  So they get to finish the race with us!  God is so good!  For those of you who prayed and gave, thank you so much!  I pray the Lord blesses you greatly for your faithfulness!
