I can't believe another month is over! Where is the time going?!!? So today is Saturday and early tomorrow morning we leave to head to La Paz for a 2 day debrief and team changes!!! It's weird but I totally have a peace if God keeps my team exactly the same or if I am with all new people. This month has been incredible for our team, we've grown and learned so much about how to live in community! Then on the 12th we fly to Miami then to NY and then on to Albania! Eeeekkkkkkk, I've actually finished a continent! Weird! So after this I have no idea when I'll have internet again but I promise to update once we're there! Prayers for safe travel are always appreciated!

But now for the good stuff! Never have I ever until Bolivia:
- learned to drive stick on a cobblestoned road in a giant school bus!
- seen a caution llama crossing sign. They seriously love their llamas here!
- lived in an orphanage.
- taught a small child how to use the carrying over method in subtraction, in Spanish! It took 2 hours, but we got it!
- been to a professional soccer game!
- been to a World Cup elimination soccer game! Bolivia vs Brazil–the home team totally one! It was the most intense sporting event I've ever been too!
- marched in a parade! It was the most disorganized parade and I feared we were going to be run over at any moment because the streets weren't closed, but it was a parade none-the-less!
- tilled a ginormous field!
- dug a giant hole–so many blisters!
- been so thankful for hot water every.single.day.
- seen the largest Cristo statue in the world!
- washed/combed so many little kid's hair! Including working with this ministry called Kid Washing where we got to wash street kids. See my teammate, Cory's blog about our experience!
- received so many kisses in such a short period of time. These kids are super affectionate so you know I love them!
- Eaten so much soup! Every single day we have soup for lunch. I am so over soup! It probably doesn't help that we eat after working in the fields. It's a million degrees!
- been to a restaurant where the only option for food one one dish–Sillpancho–which consists of rice and potatoes under a piece of chicken beaten to be super thin with a not totally fried egg on top. Interesting.
- been to a restaurant where even though there are about 35 menu items they only make 4 a day so you never know what your options are till you get there!

The parade!
