Ok so my last blog was the heartbreak of having no idea what to do long term after the race now that I've seen so much hurt and pain in the world. This blog is a bit more upbeat sharing what little plans I do know!

So when I graduated college I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. I had this pretty degree in Literature, friends that had scattered across the US for jobs and/or love and this indescribable ache from knowing my life would never be the same. So I decided to take some time to figure life out. I decided to go to my comfort place.  The place where I could be outside in the sun, surrounded by people who loved me and God and find my direction. That place was a Salvation Army summer camp.

I love summer camp. Always have, always will.

And even though it's been 9 years since I last worked there that's where I'll be heading post race! My flight arrives at 9:06am on June 10th in Manchester (feel free to bring posters and a marching band). I'll hang with the folks a few days, then head to Mass for a few days to see friends, and then finally onto Maine to start work as a Christian Ed Director at good old Camp Sebago (the most beautiful place in the world) on the 18th.

Seriously, you want to live here forever, admit it!

Yep only 7 days off after traveling the world for a year. Sometimes I make good life choices.

I am super pumped for this awesome/ideal transition opportunity back into life in the good old USA. I know God is going to do great stuff and I'm believing that He's going to show me the next step so come August 16th (the last day of camp) I'm not standing there with no home, no job, no car, no computer and no clue! (if you have any suggestions I'm wide open to them!).

10 days of ministry left.
16 days of being on the World Race.
17 days till I'm back in wonderful New England!
