So let's be honest.  This month no one cares about my ramblings.  You just want to see pictures of cute kids.  So here's what a typical day looks like at the orphanage through pictures (and a few words).

Our home: Bolivian Children's Mission

Our dog Rambo.  I love him.  There's another dog Shiloh but he doesn't like having his picture taken.  Lame.

6-8am  Wake the kids up, help them make their beds, change their clothes, comb their hair, eat breakfast and drive them to school!

Elizabeth making her bed

Damaris just waking up–pre face plant ๐Ÿ™  Isn't her hair awesome!!?

Milenka enjoying funnel cake for breakfast!  I love this place!

It's perfectly acceptable to drive to school with small children in my lap–this is Estefia, she's cute as a button and 3 years old!

8-9am–Team breakfast and Jesus time.

Yes I posed for this picture, don't judge!  But I did just finish Exodus and am now on Leviticus–you're jealous.

9-11am–Manual labor.  Awesome.

Cleaning the farm area.  Awesome.

We also painted the bottom of the pool.  It was a million degrees but I had Taylor Swift and Paramore to get me through the day!

One of the fields we have been digging up.  There's two.  And a garden and a pond.  We're awesome.

11-12pm–Team time!

We took some time to worship outside.  It was so great to just sing out!

12-1pm–Lunch!

Soup is fun for everyone (except when you've been working in the field and it's 100 degrees)

Tia Judith makes all the meals–it's an all day job!

1-2pm–Nap time for Melissa!

Another posed picture, but I really do nap in the afternoons ๐Ÿ™‚  Also you see the sweet scrap on my elbow?  I fell out of the bus.  Awesome.

2-4pm–Homework time!

Moses and I are working and penminship and Damaris and working on vocab

4-6pm–Fun and games!

One day we walked in a parade.  Here I am with Deborah and Elizabeth.  We were manos (hands) buddies.  Everyone needs a manos buddy.

Moses doing relay races

Sack races are awesome! (especially rice sack races)

6-8pm–Dinner and little kid hang out time!

They eat dinner in their pajamas to dinner.  So cute!

We make/eat dinner as a team.  Jessie usually cooks and it's always so good!

Tonight was mac and cheese, chicken, corn and peaches.  And currently Jeff is baking brownies for dessert.  Score!

Most nights the little kids get to watch an 1/2 hour of a movie before bed.  We all cram together on couches and chairs.  Please note, Jeff is asleep.  We're old.

8pm–Little kids bed time.  So many kisses, so many hugs, so little time!

Elizabeth giving goodnight kisses

8-9pm–Older kid hang out time.

Sometimes it's a dance party….

Sometimes it's cards.  This is Iben.  I love him and am teaching him how to shuffle.  Winner in Spanish is ganadora so when we play you are either the ganadora or stinky cheater.  You can see why I love him right?

Their youth group meets Saturday nights and is super fancy ๐Ÿ™‚

9:30pm–Team bed time–we're old it's ok!

Ok I don't really sleep in my clothes but some nights it's a struggle to put on my pjs…

And just for fun:

There were 6 of us trying to take a taxi.  We four were shoved in the back and two were shoved in the front.  Only on the World Race…

Estefani chillin on Jeff's lap while waiting for more kids.

So everyone thinks Rio has the largest Cristo statue but they're wrong!  Cochabamba, Bolivia does and I totally visited it!  It's HUGE!
