We went to a castle and it was AWESOME!
So once upon a time I wanted to travel the world and love lots of different people. So I left my sweet safe life, and amazing friends and family hoping God would provide new family and friends for this adventure. And boy did He give me a new family to help and encourage me along the journey. They are exactly what I need. They encourage me. They push me to be a better person. They make me laugh. They love me. And I love them back with all of my heart.

Cory keeping us safe from flies! Please check out Rikki's face behind him 🙂
And then one day I heard news that caused my heart to turn over in fear; two of my lovely family members are in danger of having to return home after Romania (next month!!! eeeeekkkk!!!!!). This can't happen! So I thought I'd tell you a little about them and then you can tell others and maybe somewhere, somehow, someone has an extra thousand or two lying around to help these lovely ladies out! This is our FINAL deadline and having this hanging over their heads is super stressful so prayers for peace would also be super appreciated!

Jenna and Rikki. Seriously, how cute are they!?!?!?!?
First is Jenna! She is absolutely hilarious! Our sense of humor is super similiar so we can just sit and joke for hours! So whenever I need a good laugh she's the one I go to! She also has this amazing ability to just call things out. She doesn't beat around the bush or talk around issues. She keeps us on tract and on the same page (which we need quite often). Because she's so blunt she's also able to just speak truth and love into our lives. She is incredible and I can't imagine being on this team without her!
Next is Rikki Lynn! First in the midst of writing this blog I had to stop so we could do an interpretive dance to Taylor Swift–perfect right? She's silly and funny and kind. She's always the first to offer to pray and seeks to bring our group into the presence of God. She also has this crazy servant heart where I almost never have to do anything less than fun. The other day while we all took naps she cleaned the bathroom and washed all the floors. Seriously?!!?!
To read about their experiences on the race check out their blogs! (that's where you'll also be able to donate–there's a link on the left side) Click here for Rikki and here for Jenna!
On a side note Jenna's birthday is tomorrow so what a sweet gift to finally be fully funded right? And on another side note, you may or may not know that MY birthday is coming up! November 8th! And guess what I'll be doing?!? Sitting on a bus for hours and hours heading to Romania. You're jealous. It's ok. And I was thinking it'd also be a pretty sweet gift to me if you (or someone you know) wanted to donate to them. Like cards are about $5 now with postage right? And you can't really send me a card so what if you gave that $5 to them (and don't forget $5 totally makes a difference!). Or maybe you wanted to get me an awesome book. That's like $20! Just saying…
Love and miss you all and can't believe I'm just about done with month four! Where is this year going!?!??!?!

That's Montenegro over there. Did you know that's a country? I didn't. But I do now! Thanks World Race!
