WE WANT YOU!!!!!
There is a need for warriors this month.
We are in need of some serious prayer this month, as we continue on with the last leg of the race on the field and the transitions of life off the field and back at home with all of you.
Here are some of team Luminous prayer requests as well as some requests from just me.
Please Pray for…
– for continued unity in our group
– for us to go even deeper, become even more rooted in love for one another, meaning loving when its easy, and when its hard, being open to change and being willing to correct with love as well. We want and desire real intimacy and commitments with each other and feel that we have been heading there all month, but now more than ever please pray we stay focused on that.
-pray for us to be in the moments and not worry about tomorrow. We only have one chance to make a moment count, and we don’t want distractions, future plans or the desire of home to take us away from what God has in the now.
-pray that we can pour out all that we have, spend it all and leave knowing that we were obedient in all things especially the little ones.
-pray that our hearts would continue to be broken for the nations and that we would be moved to more intercession and more time pouring into the people who are working in these nations.
-pray for the YWAM staff that is hosting us and the students that are here this month.
-for our health, we are all a little burned out, but the Lord is giving us what we need
-that we would be a people that continually gives God thanks and praise for all he does, and that we would boldy share our testimonies and stories of a faithful God
and as for me
-I would love prayer for my heart. An act of obedience, has me in a very broken state right now, and it hurts many days, even though I have peace about the choice I had to make.
-pray that I continue to listen for God’s voice and continue to be obedient and willing to step out in trust even if it means I am misunderstood, or that I don’t please everyone. I desire this fear of men that still eats at me after all this time to die and for me to fear the Lord and the Lord only.
-pray for my finacial support to come in. I am so so so close. I need 150.00 dollars after all the pledges come through. Other than praying on this, you may be able to help. See what God is saying and then click on the link… support Melissa.
Thank you for your prayers, they are not in vain and God has answered many of the ones that you have sent our way this year. Team Luminous has been radically blessed as a team and as individuals in our walk with the Lord. We are humbled by your love that you pour out and your time that you take to come with us on this journey through our blogs. Thank you for sharing our stories with others. Thank you for believing in us. We can’t have done this without God of course, but also without you. Though we are facing less than a month left as a team, I have a new family for life. This wasn’t just a trip, this was my life for 11 months, and soon the seasons will change and live will be something else, not normal like I have been told I am returning to, just different, and I look forward to a different season….but for now the sun is shinning on this one and I am going to breath in that fresh air. God bless you all.
