I guess you can’t get to upset when your team lies to you for a whole week and it turns out that you really don’t have a meeting with Jenny Brown after all that morning. But it is in fact your world race Birthday. SURPRISE!!! This is the benifits of not having your birthday on the world race and having the coolest team in the world. You get to be surprised with a day of fun that you never know when it will come and what you will be doing. My birthday was Saturday April 11th and I was going to be fulfilling a bucket list moment. They were taking me on a tour guided day of bamboo rafting through the jungle, a visit to the a hill tribe, a trip to a waterfall, and the most amazing part…. The elephant riding. Here are some pictures of the greatest birthday I have ever had. As of today my cheeks still have not healed from the perma grin that never left my face.
We were bound to get soaked, so camera’s for this part were not an option, but they do take a photo for you, which my team purchased for me to keep.
Oh Elephants. I love them so much. This little one made the day for us. I affectionately refered to him as Chip. My elephant I named Manfred. He had some major attitude that day.
This is where we took the driver for a ride.
and then the water fall. This was spectacular to swim in. But quite the feat. The water throws you forward
This day was perfect. But it wasnt over. Not only did I get to do all this, I was able to come back and be blessed with hearing the church at the YMCA practice worship and join in. And then street vendor food and a movie night viewing from the laptop, cake and candles and finally bed time. Thanks again Luminous. Love you
