Do you know someone who works tirelessly for the sake of others? Whose heart beats for justice and prosperity of the overlooked?
This month in Honduras my team is on a mission to find these people and to share their stories. We're scouring the streets and networking our butts off to recognize the Kingdom in Honduras, to recognize the feet and the hands and the hearts, the eyeballs and the ears that do their work silently, diligently, and unnoticed. We're coming for you.
Agape 13:13 (which is my team for those of you who aren't frequenting this blog very often…change your life priorities) is partnering with Adventures in Mission's UnSung Hero Campaign. We're looking for contacts that The World Race can send future teams to expand the work that we do. As you can imagine, the possibilities and potential is limitless: basically as limitless as God is. However we're also looking for workers who are simply giving all that they have to help the people around them in Jesus' name. We want to tell their stories so that you can be inspired and challenged to do likewise, and so that you can send prayers to God on their behalf. It's about linking the body of Christ in a tangible way.
And we need your help! Please pray that we would find the people who need to be found, whose spirits need to be lifted, and bodies rejuvenated with some encouragement and that our hearts would be dedicated to making known the stories of those who are pursuing "Kingdom come" more than their own earthly inheritance. What I've come to learn here is that we work FOR the Kingdom, regardless of what our actual occupation or passion or income is: we use it for the building, growth, and glory of the Kingdom of God. It's our legacy, the only one that matters, the only one we'll get a crown for at the end of our lives.
