I realize that I haven't been as diligent at blogging reguarly as I anticipated, and for that I apologize.  I'll try harder in February, however accessible wifi is always an uncertainty.

Here are some nuggets of truth my time in Costa Rica:

A bus ride costs about 50 cents.  I took many bus rides.  I ate at Burger King twice.
I acquired a Pura Vida tank top for $10, a hair scrunchie for $2, and a bag of Skittles for $1 (I had been debating whether or not I should buy these for the entire month).
We made friends with a lot of homeless people.  We practiced our Spanish embarrassingly often with cashiers and cab drivers.

And I woke up pretty consistently at roughly 6:44 AM every day.  Regardless of when I went to sleep. It was like a little wake up call from God beckoning me to the balcony to bask in the sunlight with Him.  Because of this I spent an hour or two almost every morning with God getting my orders for the day.  Also, because of this I have a significantly darker tan on my right shoulder (sun side) than my left.

I will miss that balcony very much. I hope I can keep up the routine of getting some quality time with God at the start of each day.  I'm going to need that quality time because my work here is done, but tere's a little boy in Tiribi nieghbourhood that I will cling to in my thoughts.  I wish I could talk to Kevin and his friends once more while they smoke weed and maybe instill some hope in them.  I wish I could walk into every home in every neighbhourhood and say to all the fathers "Hijos son primero en su vida." Your kids come first in your life.  I wish I could hang out with the skateboarders at the park and tell them that God thinks it's cool that they love to skateboard.

So if you want to pray for me, pray that I will be unafraid in my attempts to share the Gospel.  Pray that my Spanish would far exceed what I've tried to remember from university.

Thank you for your support, cheering me on in your prayers, and coming along with me on this trip. I feel it.
