Most times, you can prepare yourself for the death of a Grandparent,
or an older family member, knowing they lived a full life.
Even then, it's tough to think about.
But what about a loved one that hadn't shown any symtoms of sickness, or weakness.
It's like they're healthy one day, then BOOM, they're gone.
These sudden deaths you can't predict,
but by reading & understanding scripture,
you can prepare your mind.
“..I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in Me, though he die,
yet shall he live, and everyone who lives
and believes in Me shall never die.."
John 11:25-26
"For if we live, we live to the Lord,
and if we die, we die to the Lord,
So then, whether we live
or whether we die,
we are the Lord's."
Romans 14:8
"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers,
nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us
from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38-39
"For as in Adam, all die,
so also in Christ
shall all be made alive."
1 Corinthians 15:22
God has appointed us a time to be born, and a time to die.
But death in Christ, isn't death at all, but eternal LIFE.
Amen.
