I don't know about the rest of you,
but I'm not content with going to church on Sundays,
& living a "good" life just so God will save me a spot in Heaven.
Yes, it's great to attend church every week.
More than once a week is even better.
It's great to know, without a doubt, that you are saved.
But these things aren't what keeps me on fire for the Lord.
"Let love be your highest goal!
But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives-
especially the ability to prophesy."
1 Corinthians 14:1 (NLT)
Wisdom. Knowledge. Faith.
Healing. Miracles. Prophesy.
Discerning of spirits. Tongues.
Interpretation of Tongues.
These are the Spiritual Gifts that God wants us to desire.
I pray everyday to recieve whatever Gifts God has for me.
Since I began stepping out in faith, I've been amazed with the result.
Here are just a couple examples..
*I prophesied over girl at church, and the sermon that followed was
on exactly what God put on my heart to tell that girl. Oh hey, confirmation!
*I prayed for a girl at work, that she might recieve a healing
in her hands, as they were bothering her.
Today she texted me to tell me that my prayer worked. She is healed.
Even though these things may seem small, they're needed for my spiritual growth.
He is continuing to help me grow and strengthening me every single day.
The more I pray, the more things come to pass.
The more I desire, the more He gives me.
The more faith I have, the more He shows me.
God is listening to my prayers & raising me up!
We need to become a generation that seeks God's face.
A radical group of Christians that aren't afraid to go beyond
our own comforts to fulfill the Will of God.
With the power of the Holy Spirit and the name of Jesus, ALL things are possible!
Let us live out the Book of Acts!

Our God isn't a boring, angry, dead God.
Our God is EXCITING, LOVING and ALIVE!
He is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER.
He poured the Holy Spirit onto His people,
that in the name of Jesus, they would bring the
Kingdom of God to a lost, broken and sinful world.
STAND UP AND RECIEVE WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU!
