So in my last blog, I mentioned that the enemy has attacked me physically several times. I won’t mention how, since most of them are gross! LOL! Anyway I asked the Lord why, even after several days of prayer and after more than 5 people praying for me, I was still dealing with these issues. This is what the Lord shared with me:
2 Corinthians 12:7-10
In this passage, Paul was having surpassingly great revelations from the Lord. God allowed a thorn in his flesh to torment him. 3 times Paul asked God to remove the thorn and He refused. God did it to keep Paul from being conceited. He told Paul ” My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore, Paul says to boast gladly in your weakness, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties because Christ’s power rests on you.
Offer your weakness sacrificially to God, allow Him to keep you on your knees, asking Him for strength.
Besides the discomfort, I was frustrated by these attacks, because I wasn’t able to go an help out in the team’s ministry…and here is what God had to say about that:
This does not disqualify you from God’s work, this is when you are the strongest, because GOD’S STRENGTH is over you : )
Thank you Jesus for loving me as much as you do! Continue Your refining work in me Lord, whatever that may look like. Transform me into an iron warrior for your army.
