First, I have to start out this blog praising the Almighty God above. He is so faithful and He truly does keep His children as the apple of His eye.
Since December 15, I have been in Baltimore to spend the holidays with my family and to prepare for a major surgery taking place between some of my family members.
The surgeries took place on Dec 28th and both members are recovering quickly. It has been so evident that God’s hand has been all over this. Thank you so much family and friends for all of your prayers! They have made an impact.
James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
I know my Father in Heaven is faithful, He has never let me down, and He has always come through for me. However my stupid flesh doesn’t get it…ever!
Death comes in many different forms. To me, death is being still. I can’t stand it!
I LOVE living a life of adventure and purpose, but I can’t have it every second of the day. At some point or another, the season has to come to an end, and I am forced to rest and be still.
As thankful as I am for the rest, and boy did I need it (and still do)….my flesh fights like a highly-trained warrior against these types of seasons in my life.
What gets me about this time, is that usually God gives me some sort of clue as to what is next, but this time nothing….complete silence. This time around I have absolutely no idea what is next. I try to search for jobs, but when I have no idea where I even want to live, it makes this process extremely difficult.
Ever had that feeling like you just want to jump out of your skin…just to make an impact….just to make something happen? This is what I fight against on a daily basis.
I guess I have no choice but to listen to the advice of children. My 8 year old little sister and my 11 year old niece tell me to STOP. They tell me to wait on God and leave it completely in His hands. He will let me know when its time.
