2 days and 4 airplanes later, I finally made it to Bangkok, Thailand. “Thailand,” you ask….”I thought you were still in Nicaragua? ” Please let me sincerely apologize for not blogging more last month. It is a little difficult when I don’t have a computer of my own, and the only available computer at the hotel runs as slow as molasses. To make up for it, the girls on Team 180 and I have decided to blog everyday for 25 days. Some blogs will be very intense, others just a few short sentences to share about the ministry, day, or something God has shown me. I hope you stay tuned : )

To tell you a little bit about the ministry this month….
We left Bangkok yesterday and made our way about 9 hours north to Chiang Mai. We are staying and working with Lighthouse Ministries, alongside the girls from Team Jubilee- so excited to work with them! I just learned today that we will be working in the coffeehouse during the mornings and afternoons. During that time, we will be taking about an hour of quiet time to spend with the Lord. We will also be having lunch in the University cafe across the street, so we can get to know and witness to some college students and invite them to the coffeehouse. In the evenings, Monday thru Thursday, we will be going to the bars in the Red Light District. We will be there from 8:30-11:30pm to build relationships with some of the prostitutes and to share the hope and love of Jesus. In case you didn’t know…Thailand has a huge sex trade industry. The income brought in by prostitution is more than the national budget. There is also a huge AIDS epidemic due to this type of work. Most of these girls are very young and this is the only type of life they know. Our job is to build relationships with these girls and show them what a life of freedom in Christ looks like. Please keep both teams in your prayers this month. We need a lot of prayer warriors backing us up. Please don’t be worried (especially you dad-you’re so cute), this is a divine appointment from God. He has already prepared the way. His angels go before us, and encamp themselves around us. We are covered in the blood of the Lamb. I love you all, and can’t wait to share with you all of the awesome things God is going to do this month!
