I was hoping for some brilliant thing to write as my 7th and final blog of the week, and this is what the Lord has placed on my heart! What could be more brilliant than lifting up my fellow brothers and sisters, God has allowed me to love, in prayers. Many of you have also reached out to me and inquired how you can be praying, here’s how! I don’t expect each of you to pray for each and everything that is written here but these are the people that I lift up in my prayers since being on the Race, so maybe just take a few minutes to pray for the one or two that stand out to you. If anything tugs at your heart and you have a question about more specifics don’t hesitate to reach out and I would love to talk about it.

Pray for Romania. Pray that the people there would not just claim to know God but would also know Jesus and what it means to have a relationship with Him. Pray for Dragenesti and Hope Church; that there would be the people, resources, and organization needed to successfully minister to the people around them. Lift up their student ministry taking off at the nearby university. Pray for restoration to hurting hearts.

Pray for Ukraine. Pray for peace in the country, that the Lord would bring His peace and the war going on on the eastern border with Russia would cease. Pray for the predominately Orthodox Catholic people that Christianity would turn from simply tradition to a relationship. Pray for strength in the outreach of our partner ministry, that the youth of the area would be reached and that future Race teams can continue to bring hope to them by providing english lessons. Pray for my beloved friends I found there; for Ira, Stan, Andrew, Sasha, and our host Ivan.

Pray for Chile. Pray for stability in the government and economy so that the people can healthily establish themselves. Pray against apathy and the stagnant spirit in the country, that the people would find a fervor for the Lord. Lift up Juan and Elvirta and their two children as they are going into their fifth month in a new home and new place. Pray that they would have strength for the hard days and a community that builds them up and loves them well. Pray for Fernando, a beautiful soul chasing the Lord with more wisdom than I could ever dream to have. Pray that people would bless him as much as he blesses others, because geez, he deserves it!

Pray for Peru. Pray that the beauty of the Inca culture would be combined with the beauty of the gospel. Pray for Kenneth and Letty, our American missionary hosts, that they would find the community they are desiring in Cusco; and pray that they would continue to get the financial support they need to stay on the field. Pray for their church and ministries and that nothing would be hindering the work of the Lord. Pray for the sweetest little children I’ve ever met, that church would continue to be where they want to be and that they would know the comfort of the Lord. Pray for Pamela, Alex, and Lucio, that their faith in their young age would lead their family to God. Pray for the people of Trajilllo that the primarily Orthodox community would not be stagnant in their faith, but would come to know the Lord on a personal level.

Pray for India. Pray for political rest, for justice for the people, and against the spiritual heaviness of the country. Pray for the movement of Christianity, here in the northeast, that it would sweep over the whole country. Pray for John and Lawm and their huge newtork of a ministry. Pray that they would not encounter issues with the government and that they would continue to work towards the unreached peoples in surrounding countries. Cover the PMS schools in this area with prayer as they bring the gospel to thousands of children each and every day. Pray that these children would have steady supporters to allow them to keep going to school.

Pray for Nepal. Pray over the minsitries that my squad will be traveling to in the next few days. Pray that lives would be changed, and that the power of the Lord would be made real to the people of the country.

Pray for my squad. Pray for safety as we travel to Nepal, and health as we venture into our last month on the field. Pray against exhaustion and apathy, and for motivation and a spiritual fervor like we’ve never known. Begin to pray over our transitions back home.

Pray for me. Pray over my tired and hurting body, for healing, that it would not hinder me or slow me down but become a testimate of the Lord’s character. Pray that I would stay present and make the most of every moment. Pray that I will hear exactly where the Lord wants me and that I will have the courage to follow.
