These girls are actual rock stars. They WOW me every single day. We are all so different, but so similar where we all want people to feel the same love we feel from Jesus. They uplift, support, and love me so well. They make me laugh way too much. I love these girls and they have become forever friends. Living with 6 other girls seemed nerve racking, but with them they ease my nerves. I don’t hesitate to tell them if I am having a hard day because I trust them and am not afraid to talk to them. We are all a bunch of crazy kids just living life for the Lord, and having fun while we do it.

How has the Lord been changing your heart here in Guatemala?
He has softened it, so often I can’t see beauty because I had such a hard perception of life. I am learning to live simply, almost forgetting reality in order to make space for Jesus.
What are you most excited for throughout these next 9 months?
To learn how to walk with Him instead of against. For my mindset to be to further the kingdom instead of further my own agenda. Thank you Jesus!
What is your favorite way of doing quiet time?
Draw whatever is around me in that moment and reflect on what the Father has done for me in the present. Pray for the future and reflect on the goodness he has done for me in the past. Then do a devotional if I am on one or have him guide me to a verse.
What is your creative outlet?
Drawing and writing. Super messy and vulnerable, my worst nightmare while being my favorite thing.

How has the Lord been changing your heart here in Guatemala?
He is continually reminding me that His power and authority, is accessible through the simplicity of His love. That there is no exception for who He desires to be in relationship with, from the lady at the local tienda, to man that collects money on the “chicken bus” they are all beyond worthy of pursuit. This life is overall a privilege.
What are you most excited for throughout these next 3 months?
Getting to know my team. These girls have blown me away with their overflowing hearts. The way they love others and each other is unbelievable. I’m excited to laugh, cry, and minister with them. Leading them has already been such a Joy, so launching them into the final six months is an honor.
What is your favorite way of doing quiet time?
My favorite way of doing quiet time is far from quiet. I like to wake up early, and have a conversation with the Lord, I’ll read His word and just explore His heart.Sometimes I’m laughing loudly, or worshiping on the top of my lungs… by myself of course. That is by far my favorite.
What is your creative outlet?
I think music is probably the most common way I pursue creativity. I really love to sing, and jam with people.
