Travelling has been too easy this month. Aside from basically knocking out a couple people on the bus with our bags, it has been smooth sailing. Daniel and I were almost left on the wrong side of security at LAX, but we weren’t. I almost lost my Passport, but I found it. We almost missed the last bus to San Lucas, but we caught it at the corner. We almost fell out of our seats as the bus drove 70 mph up a winding mountain on the wrong side of the road, but we held on. A guy almost peed on me when I tried to get off the bus, but he missed. We thought we got off at the wrong bus station forcing us to walk miles with our packs, but we didn’t.
Now, you may be asking, what is wrong with successful travel days? Well, my friends, how am I supposed to blog and have crazy stories to tell if everything works out perfectly? “So we got on the plane, then we got off the plane, caught a bus, and got to our destination on time.” No! Lame! So all of my prayer warriors out there, please continue to pray for our safety as we travel but instead of perfect travel days, let’s pray that God’s goodness and love would shine through when things get messy. Deal?
And a quick fundraising update: Yes, I was able to launch but I am not fully funded. I still need about $4,000 (not including pledges). If you are feel led to financially support me (anything helps) then please click on “support me” underneath my picture at the top of this blog.
Thank you and love you all!
