First and foremost…I am a happy, silly, God-loving person! I am in awe of the wonder I see around me all the time…the beauty I see in nature and the beauty I see in people. But, I think the simplest way to tell you about myself is to create a list. Here goes:
1. I love God and I love serving him in my daily life.
2. Youth leader in my church – youth group, theory, youth services, drama, singing
3. Total band geek 🙂 – church brass band, band camps, play piano, a bit of guitar
4. I love singing, especially with my girls at church (they know me in a way no one else does)
5. I love to sew and create things as well as bake and cook…always trying new things
6. Primary/elementary school teacher
7. I love to read and write
8. I love to run, workout and exercise
9. Being outside is my favourite…running, in boat, hiking, or just at the beach
10. My family is so important to me…I’m an aunt to two beautiful little boys and the niece/cousin/granddaughter/sister/daughter of the best family. Family Scrabble games rock my socks!
11. I have the best group of friends that anyone could ask for…they are my rocks!
12. Although I’m active and a little tomboyish at time, I wear dresses to work all the time and I love it!
13. I want to see as many countries as possible in my lifetime
14. I think it would be awesome to live to be 100 years old! 🙂
