The uncertainty and spontaneity of the World Race has started! Surprises are already happening!
Less than an hour ago my squad (P Squad) were informed of a route change. We will no longer be going to Chile…we will be going to ECUADOR! Our new route will be Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malawi, and Zambia! This is the first major change we have had but it might not be the last.
When I first saw the email I was nervous to see what the change would be. Would a country that I was really excited about no longer be on our route? Would I be disappointed? But as I saw the word Ecuador my heart was elated. I feel privileged to be going to Ecuador. I have wanted to visit and have looked at mission trips going to Ecuador. I know that this change is straight from God. He knows where He needs and wants my squad to be His “hands and feet”. God has a plan set out for us and we are ready to follow His will. We have to remember that His plan is perfect and may sometimes be unexpected.
I’m sure all of P Squad will embrace this change. We will spread the gospel to the nations, wherever God calls us!
