I leave for launch in twenty three days! WHAT!

As excited as I am, the thought of leaving the country comes with a mix of emotions. I am ecstatic to experience new culture. I am thrilled to grow deeper in relationship with my teammates. I am heartbroken when I try and fathom nine months without seeing my family face to face. I am daunted at the idea of raising $3,193 by July 22.

However, I am faithful that God will provide all means necessary to gather funds, just like I am faithful that He will be sufficient when I miss my family and friends. More and more I have become doubtful that I will reach the $10,000 mark in such short time, but I keep reminding myself to wait on the Lord, and even though I would have loved to reach my goal sooner, His timing is perfect.

Psalm 27:14

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

I will wait. I will trust. I will pray. I will ask, seek, and knock, and I know that it will be given.

If you feel called to be a part of my journey, please consider donating. You can donate by clicking on my blog and going to the ‘Support Me’ option.

Otherwise, I ask that you please join in prayer- that my team and I will be successful in bringing love to the lives of those we encounter in Guatemala, Lesotho, and Cambodia.
