(this video was made by a friend- big thanks to Johnathan Bergeron!!!!)
The fact that you’re looking at my blog right now makes me so happy! I am so grateful for the people that God has crossed my path with. The people that care about what God is doing in my life. The people that show me kindness. The people that I can call my friends. YOU GUYS!
This blog/video is to better explain my heart for orphans and let you know how you can support me, if you feel called to do so.
First. Orphans. I think about them all the time. The millions in the world. Some, I’ve met. I think about how much joy I saw in those kiddos that didn’t have families. I think about the innocence in their eyes when they didn’t have shoes. I think about the purity in they smiles when they didn’t have food in their tummies. I think about how incredibly blessed I am to have a glimpse into their hearts. I miss them often. They changed the entire course of my life. Nothing can be the same.
How you can support me. I really need prayer support. I would love to have people thinking about me while I am gone and talking to God about me. Please pray for my time in Guatemala, the children at the orphanages we will partner with, my team, the country of Guatemala, my fundraising, and the millions of orphans in the world.
I am also in need of financial support. The littlest amount helps. I must raise support to complete the CGA program. Costs will cover my transportation, food, lodging, and the program and administration fees. Basically, my whole life for the next year.
You can donate right here on my blog if you’d like to! There is a tab on the left under my photo (of me drinking coffee in Swaziland- the country that I love and miss dearly) called “support me” where you can make an online donation (monthly or one time). You can send a check to Adventures in Missions with my name in the memo line. They can send you a receipt. It’s tax-deductible. The address to send checks to is: Adventures in Missions, PO Box 742570, Atlanta, GA, 30374-2570.
I really love talking about what God is doing in my life. I really love sharing my heart. I really love answering questions. I love making new friends. Feel free to write me any time (contact me tab on my blog) and I’ll happily respond.
Thanks again SOOO much for taking the time to read this blog and to be in my life. You mean a lot to me.
lovelovelove,
Mel.
