I want to share with you how I am doing in my fundraising & how YOU can help me!! 🙂

Deadlines-

• • • • $3,500 – Due 9/29/2012 (2 weeks before Training Camp)
      • $6,500 – Due 12/18/2012 (2 weeks prior to launch)
      • $11,000 – Due 4/1/2013 (End of 3 months on the field)
      • $15,500 – Total Due 7/1/2013 (End of 6 months on the field)

Fundraising update–> So far I have $2,956.70! That's only $543.30 away from my first deadline!! (thank you so much)

THREADS OF HOPE BRACELETS! 
I am selling these incredible bracelets made by women and children in the Philippines. I am selling them for $2 each or 3 for $5. And here is the coolest part–> 50% of what I make from the bracelets will go directly back to the struggling families in the Philippines and 50% will go to my WR 🙂

T-SHIRTS!
Here are some T-Shirts that I am selling as a fundraiser! They are $20 🙂 I need the money and size needed (S-XXL) before I place a big order. Let me know if you want to support me and sport one of these awesome shirts!! 🙂 They say "Love needs no translation" And list my countries I am going to underneath! & my blog address. SOOO cool. These are the colors I am selling right now.

LOOSE CHANGE!
Here are some super awesome jars that I am asking you to fill with your loose change. This is an extremely easy way to help me! Just leave this around the house and throw any loose change in it, get it back to me and hopefully it will all start to add up! Like they say on the jars- "A little change goes a long way" 🙂 If you would like a jar, let me know and I’ll get one to you!!!

CAR WASH!!! This is coming up pretty soon!! On August 18^th, I will have a car wash in the back parking lot of Old Chicago (3580 E. 2^nd St.) from 9AM to 3PM. I have some wonderful, amazing Old Chicago friends helping me out. It should be tons of fun, you can donate any amount and you get a clean car out of the deal!
 
HELP ME WITH MY GEAR!! I created a gift registry on REI.com and I would love if you wanted to help me purchase any items I need. http://www.rei.com/GiftRegistryDetails/GR2867564 I have to purchase my own gear, outside of my funds I need to raise. It would be absolutely wonderful if you wanted to help me with purchasing some of it. It’d be like Christmas! Or my birthday! And I will bake you your favorite baked goods in return!

GARAGE SALE! I will be having a garage sale very soon! Please check back here for more details. Right now, all I know is that I am accepting ANY donations for the garage sale! I would love if you can donate absolutely anything that you are wanting to get rid of. Contact me through e-mail, facebook or phone. Then, when it is time for the garage sale, PLEASE come and shop 🙂 It will be a donation based garage sale.
 
BAKE SALES! I am going to sell baked goods at church before and after Sunday School for a few Sundays in a row (depending on how well it goes). If you are like me and love to bake, feel free to help make some yummies to sell for donations. I will have various other bake sales in the upcoming months, so be watching for those too! (I love baking, so this seems perfect to do)

PRAYER!!! This is the most important way that you can help me! I need your prayer now in my preparation for the race. I will need prayer while I am on the race also. Please remember to pray for me, my squad and the countries I am going to.

It's wonderful to have this support while I am here, but remember that I will need it just as much when I am on the race.
