Dear Adventures in Missions,
You have changed my life in so many ways and I am so so so thankful for you! I wanted to take to time to let you know that.
Over the past 3 years…
- You have ignited a fire in me to live a life chasing after God.
- You have shown me what it looks like to be Kingdom minded.
- You have demonstrated how to love well.
- You have believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself.
- You have launched me into the life God has called me to.
- You have given so much guidance, wisdom, tips and tricks of life.
- You have allowed me to shine in ways I was scared to.
- You have encouraged me as I stepped into who I truly am in Christ.
- You have taken me on some of the craziest adventures of my life.
- You have played the biggest role in my love of missions and serving overseas.
- You have loved me so well!!!
- You have introduced me to amazing, Jesus-following, forever friends.
- You have poured into me so that I can pour into others.
- You have taught me things I never knew about the Holy Spirit.
- You have opened the door to possibilities I never knew existed.
- You have trained me in areas I need to succeed in life as a missionary.
- You have equipped me with knowledge and experience that can’t be replicated.
- You have discipled me, encouraging my spiritual growth.
- You have led me to the place I am at now, moving to South Africa to be a long term missionary!!!!
This is not goodbye. I will see you so much in the future, I just know it. Because we have similar visions of bringing God’s Kingdom to earth and loving people everywhere. And we will always be family, sharing the best Father ever.
This is simply a big THANK YOU as I close out this season and begin the next. You will always have a piece of my heart, Adventures in Missions.
I really do love y’all.

And an exciting announcement—–>
Since I will no longer be with Adventures in Missions, I won’t be using this blog anymore. I now have my very own website, where you can follow my journey serving in South Africa!! I will continue write blogs and share my story (because Adventures has also taught me how awesome blogging is).
Ventures of Love. That’s the name. What my new site and my life is all about.
A venture is a risky or daring journey or undertaking.
I’ve learned that love is the most risky thing we can do. But also the best.
And now it’s all that I want my life to be about.
Visit my site, subscribe, share, and continue to follow my journey!!!
I’m so thankful for everyone that has read my blogs, followed my journey so far, believed in me, and supported me. I can NEVER thank you enough!!!! Thank you so much for everything. You have impacted my life forever. I am so blessed by you all. THANK YOU!!!
lovelovelove,
Mel 🙂
