I have been meaning to post this blog for a while. I can't believe that it's taken me so long. But now, I want to really show you all what I got to see almost every day last month in Swaziland.
I knew the moment that ministry started that I would want to capture the faces of these beautiful children and remember them forever. I wanted to keep their smiles in my heart to brighten up any bad thought. I wanted to keep their laughter in my mind, easily accessible when my ears need something light and playful. I wanted to remember each new friend I made and never forget the way their eyelashes curled almost completely to touch their eyelids.
This is the best that I could do to share some of the photographic memories that I will forever hold tight to.
As you get to look at the beautiful faces of these breathtakingly amazing children, say a prayer for them. They are all living in the highest HIV/AIDS infected country in Africa. They live in poverty. For some of them, their only meals come from this Care Point (they usually receive porridge for breakfast as you saw in some photos and rice and beans for lunch). Many of the children have sick parents, some live with relatives and a few are orphans.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at these photos and pray for these children.
