The girls are taking over this month….watch out Phukett, Thailand.
The women from my team will be joining the women from Team Symphony and our squad leader, Brandy….together we are Team Put On Love (from Colossians 3:14).
Tomorrow, we are traveling to Phuket to bring God’s hope and redeeming love to prostitutes and victims of human trafficking. We will be working with SHE ministries building relationships, teaching life skills, and loving women who have been oppressed.

(Self Help and Empowerment) was started in 2006 by co-founders Mark
and Sharon Biddell. SHE works with women and children marginalized
and at risk, with the majority working in the bars and commercial sex
industry of Patong Beach. Many of these young women travel to Patong from
the poorer rural areas of Thailand to seek employment in order to
provide income for their families. SHE is helping women at risk by
operating a center which offers a safe environment, vocational
training, counseling, rehabilitation and sustainable employment
opportunities. It’s a place to learn new skills, form relationships
and experience the grace of God and above all, a realization of their
own worth and value.

practical and ongoing ways. We will meet the physical, spiritual and
emotional needs of the people we work with and endeavor to bring
about transformational development. Whether it is addressing
material, social or spiritual deprivation, transformational
development is essentially a faith-based activity and we believe the
work of the Holy Spirit is central both in preparing those to be
helped and in motivating and guiding the helpers.”
