Well, friends, I have been praying for eyes to see stories this month, and the Lord has been providing! It’s been so beautiful watching God work in the details. I will be posting another blog sharing more of these stories later, but for now, I would like to share that I am…

FULLY-FUNDED!!!
I am absolutely blown away by the generosity of so many! It has been quite the journey since April 2014; sending letters, hosting events, selling t-shirts and some of my belongings, making phone calls, and sharing my heart for this mission. While, I could sit here and tell you that this is what makes for a successful fundraising plan, I would be lying.
All of this was a lot of hard work, along with a lot of prayer, and it paid off. But, in these past few months, since I left for El Salvador, the Lord has been showing me, even more, that the funding of this mission has nothing to do with my planning, but everything to do with His planning.
I never doubted that I would be on this Race for it’s entirety. I knew that the Lord would provide–somehow. That being said, once I left in January, I was done. There were no more events, no more phone calls, and yet, every month I received more gifts! And even though I trusted the Lord to provide, with every gift came excitement and surprise.
Our last financial deadline is on July 1st. As of two days ago, I was only lacking $1,113. My teammate Sara, made a Facebook event and encouraged me to do the same. I wasn’t so sure about it, but the thought of planning an “event” talked me into it. Within minutes, I was receiving emails telling me that people had donated. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 emails… Not only that, but my other two teammates, who are still raising support, were receiving emails as well! Our whole team got excited; we continued praying, and celebrating what the Lord was doing! The next morning (yesterday) I checked my email and saw that I had even more gifts come in. I was (and still am) overwhelmed at the response and generosity of so many!
Betsy (one of my teammates), spoke it over me that I would be fully-funded by the end of the day. This got me excited, although I didn’t believe it. I still had no doubts that I would make the deadline, but realizing this deadline is still a few weeks away, I knew I had time. Betsy also spoke it over me that my last donation would be a big one, for the total amount still needed.
Well, praise the Lord for speaking through Betsy’s mouth because at exactly 12 o’clock noon yesterday, I became fully-funded, with my last donation being the amount that I still needed.
What a journey, friends! THANK YOU is not enough to express my gratitude. I am so humbled to be here as this journey continues, and I know full-well that this would not be possible without each and every one of you. Thank you for listening to the Lord, thank you for being generous with your finances, with your prayers, with your encouraging words. Thank you for pouring into my life and being a part of my story. <3
We’ve got 5 1/2 months left to go on this Race, and I hope you will continue to follow along with me on this adventure!

If you would like to continue supporting financially, please consider giving to one of my teammates, Sara Torres or Katrina Nixon, as they are still needing to reach their goal by July 1st in order to continue the Race.
