I remember it like it was yesterday.
Training camp and being put on the all women's team that would come to be known as Veracity.
I couldn't fathom being on a team of all women.
I'd done it for four years in choir.
But now I am at the end of my race and I wouldn't change a thing. I wasn't on just one team of powerhouse women…
But 3.
And in each one and from each women I take something with me.
Veracity.
Riddle- you may be not pictured in these- but you occupy a lot of my heart on this race…I take from you loyalty. How to have someone's back and be in their corner.
Workman- from you I take boldness. Putting it out there no matter what. No matter how hard or uncomfortable. Putting things on the table so they are known.

Emily- from you I take a piece of the fight within you. The desire and necessity to keep walking through the hard stuff no matter what.
Team BA (which even though was only my team name for a month- I feel as if it is a main identifier with my race)
Chelsey- from you I take loveliness. Thedesire to see the world as beauty- to see every person's story as beautiful.

Julie Dickey- from you I take quiet fierceness. The knowledge of who I am in Christ and what I can do.

Mary- from you I take spiritual rest. Watching you daily rest in The Lord for 3 months. Seeing how that impacted your walk with Him.

Imperiale- from you I take hope. You walked in hope for something new when you began this race. You knew somewhere in your mind it was going to come. And it did.
Catherine Ann- from you (among many things) I take beauty. I have never had someone tell me I am beautiful as much as you. And somewhere along the lines I have chosen to believe it.
Team BA & the 112.
Lauren- from you I take power. The knowledge that Jesus has given the power of His words to use as a sword of truth.
Veracity, team BA & the 112.
Cassie- from you I take heart. To do what you do in your life takes heart and passion and you have both of so much that you choose to give freely.
Squad leader addition of the 112 and veracity:
Kayla- from you I take love. You love so well in the good and in the hard. You walk in it daily.
And of course:
Betsy- there are so many things I take from you, but if I had to choose one word it would be truth.
I take truth from you. The ability to live in it, speak it even when it is uncomfortable and walk in it even when it is rocky.
I could keep going. With all the women on my squad. There is love, light and a lot of wisdom running through the women of nsquad.
Thank you ladies. You have impacted me, loved me, and walked with me. And for that I am grateful.
I'll be home soon. I might have one more thing to say before hitting stateside- but if I don't- california here I come.
