Ministry of the month:
This month we did ministry at the Anchor Center in Nsoko, Swaziland. The Anchor Center is one of the ten care points apart of Adventures in Mission. We were the “finishing” crew. Meaning? There were multiple different team that came in and out that month. We finished off projects that they start.
Also: Erica our contact. Hands down one of the most amazing women I have ever met in my life. She runs the show beautifully!
Living Situation:
We lived in the team house on the site of the care point. Also: 22 women and the most space I have had since Romania. [And the best kitchen! We had a fridge!]
Church:
We went to the church at the care point. It was more low key African church but filled with a lot of family and love.
Food:
We cooked for ourselves this month. Healthy food all the way. + popcorn + lots of coffee. Plus me making butternut squash mac and cheese and also perfecting my veggie stew.
Spiritual Lesson:
I would love to write my spiritual lesson but I don’t know if I can fully grasp what I learned. I know that I believe in myself more and that God is calling me to walk in truth.
Biggest Challenge:
Hands down: team leading. Biggest joy: hands down team leading. I was able to pull something out of myself that I have missed for so long.
Random WR moment:
When Morgan [WR alum- Hi Morgan!] and her awesome friends came by and brought us goodies. [like French vanilla coffee creamer.]
Favorite memory:
Seeing so many of my favorite people getting to know each other and the community that being with all women brought me.
Funniest moment:
When Fuji and I went to go try to fix the water and we stared at it for awhile…and then turned our heads to the left and saw 2-3 cows staring back.
What I will miss:
My team. Last month I was with 4 other women who brought me joy, love, laughter and strength on the daily.

Prayer request:
Endurance. Remaining present. Finishing strong. We're already in Thailand finishing off month 8 debrief. Onto Month 9! No clue about ministry, teams or when we are coming home. Life is good!
