I can barely begin to scratch the surface of the gambit of emotions I am feeling. And I know that this is one of the few blogs I will write about training camp. It's just to much for one blog.

But what I do know is that I have a singular piece of advice for future training camp attendees- and it's this:

Lean in.
Lean into the expierence, the process, the people, the Holy Spirit until you collapse to your knees.

The worship times are beautiful expressions of how so many different Christ followers worship. You will be challenged to worship outside your box.

Lean into the feeling of uncomfort. It will free you!

The seminars, the speakers will uplift you, speak into your life and challenge your beliefs in so many good ways. And when you can barely keep your eyes open because you are so dang tired?

Take a deep breath, stretch, open your heart and lean in to what God has to say.

The random curveballs that are thrown at your squad, the lack of schedule is a big part of building your team and growing in flexibility.

Lean into those challenges even when you just want to collapse on the ground.

Showering a little less so you have more time to get to know you squad mates?
Lean into that (& invest in good deodorant).

The Holy Spirit is going to come like a wrecking ball. Allow it to take down the walls.
Lean in even when the tears start come so rapidly you can't even see.

And lastly the part I was terrified to lean in to.

When you come to training camp you are going to meet your trainers, mobilizer, coaches, coordinator and squad leaders. These people are amazing. They want to rally around you. They want to encourage you and be a safe place.

They want to help you fish out all of the lies of the enemy that are swirling around in your head. And that can start to hurt, and it's hard.

But they are there for you. Our N Squad lead team was phenomenal. They are open, caring and in love helped us expose some deep hidden places in our lives.

[absolutely amazing Godly squad leaders]

But?
it was up to us to choose to allow them too.

Lean into that process. Choose to be honest. There are some powerful, Godly men and women who are fighting for you. Interceding for you.

Let them. Because if you want it to or not training camp will change you.

It rocked me. I am not the same person for first set up her tent on the 13th.I can't wait to share more of the highs, lows, hilarity and life changing moments of last week.

Until then- Lean in and remain in HIS love
