So here I am in Chicago, with all my World Race family.  This is real.  This is so unreal.  God chose me for this adventure.  WOW!!!

Our first assignment as a team today was a Treasure Hunt.  Using listening prayer, we asked the Lord (ATL) for a word/phrase, picture, sound…anything that would lead us to where He wanted us to go and pray for someone.  This is what the Lord gave us:

Airport.
   Baggage Claim.
       Starbucks.
Man wearing glasses and brown fedora hat.
        Blonde haired little boy.
   Pink Cast.
A box with a line through it.

So we took the shuttle from the hotel and went to the airport.  We headed inside to go to baggage claim, and we saw a man in a chair with a blue cast.  Okay so maybe we are in the right direction, not pink but still its a cast.  When we got to baggage claim, there was in fact a Starbucks, and at first I rolled my eyes thinking okay these people only want to get a coffee.  BUT then as we rounded the corner of Starbucks there sat a man wearing glasses and a brown fedora hat, eating a fruit cup and drinking a cup of coffee.  Pretty sure my mouth dropped open.  Sarah, a girl on our team went up and started talking to him and we all gathered around.  We told him how the Lord led us to the airport, baggage claim and Starbucks.  He shared with us that God speaks to Him to, and then he told us about his personal walk with Christ.  This man was such a blessing!!  As he was sharing with us, a blonde haired little boy walked by with his dad.

Before we left we asked if we could pray with him, and what specifically we could pray for.  He shared with us he needed the boldness to witness with his coworkers back in Oklahoma.  We prayed for him, and he prayed for us!!  He commissioned us to the nations!  HELLO GOD!!!

God covers ALL the details!!  He doesn't leave anything out or forget anything.  Going to the airport, I see the box with a line through it as the door we walked through at the airport, the man with a cast on, baggage claim, Starbucks, the man, the little boy….God confirmed for me today that He does speak to us when we take the time to listen.

So as you go throughout your day, please remember Richard, our brown fedora hat friend.  Pray God would give him the boldness and courage needed to share his faith with coworkers.  He has an amazing story to share that God wants to use!!!
