Hello from India! I’ve been here for a little over 2 weeks now. Please enjoy this comprehensive list of new discoveries that I’ve developed in my time here thus far:
- Cows really do roam the city streets
- Kurtas are komfortable
- Water buffalo milk is delicious
- Walking on the streets is safer and more efficient than walking on the sidewalk
- A 3 person tuk-tuk can actually fit 9
- “Room with AC” does not always mean room with AC
- I didn’t pee the bed, it’s just a pool of my sweat
- My eyes sweat
- Chai time is the best time
- Jesus is the bread, roti, naan, dosa, and chapati of life
- Shower curtains do not exist in the eastern hemisphere
- I am willing to walk 5k in 112 degree heat for McDonald’s
- There is power in the name of Jesus! (more to come on that later…)
