Okay so week one and two are done and dusted!

I flew on a plane for the first time you guys. let me tell you after pulling an all-nighter naps are great on planes. But landing in Tegucigalpa was probably the most exciting part!

**Ya’ll should look up videos of planes landing in TGU.**

Our host is only about an hour and a half outside of the main city so they sent a van to scoop us up at the airport. After loosely tying our bags on top of the van the nice gentleman driving played an epic game of chicken with the entire nation of Honduras.

Don’t worry ya’ll, we made it without any casualties.

The last two weeks have been full of hugs and kisses.. We’ve been helping at an adult special needs home in Valle De Angeles, Honduras. People talk about how God works through any language barrier and that’s sooo true. The residents don’t care where we came from or what language we speak. They just want our attention. I haven’t been kissed and hugged more in my entire and that’s saying something, I have an Aunt Lynn lol.

Almost as soon as we walked in the gates we met Nino who actually spent most of the week with me. Every chance he got during the first few days he would hug/kiss me then tell me about a piñata he would be getting later that week.  Honestly, it’s amazing how excited one can get over something so simple. That’s what I want in life, a yes in my spirit and excitement over the smallest of things. I must say God is working on the little things for me. I have never been so excited for broccoli in my entire life.

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” Luke 16:10

So there was a fiesta later on in the week with lunch, cake, and a piñata! The amount of sugar they consumed you would have thought someone spiked the punch. Which was some kind of orange banana flavored soda. Yuck! After an awesome dance party some of the residents were so hyped they were stumbling back home or passed out in their wheelchairs. I have to say that party was a success!

Ive also been attempting to learn some Spanish but so far all I have is beans, rice and whats up. Everyone keeps laughing at how many times i’ve repeated frijoles y arroz (beans and rice.) But I’m trying. I’ll keep ya’ll updated on my progress.

Prayer Request: Okay, so this isn’t easy for me, Ive been struggling a lot with not feeling worthy enough to be here. I know this is where God wants me but i’m still trying to figure who I am in Him and what I’m doing for Him. I’ve continued to feel numb through the last month. I want to be excited, which i am just not how I think I should be. I know that I’ve embarked on this amazing World Race that few will ever get to experience but I still feel so lost.
